West Yorkshire Bat Group - Protecting and caring for the bats of West Yorkshire. Our volunteers provide talks and bat walks for schools and community groups. As well has having a group of volunteers that assist with rescuing and treating injured bats the Bat group also run a full time hospital in Otley. Conservation is a very important aspect of what the bat group do. We frequently monitor number during walks, collect data, keep records and monitor roosting sites [More on conservation].
